COVID-19 Announcement: 4 New Cases

Fullerton College has learned of four new cases of COVID-19 on-campus in the last two weeks.

  • On Oct. 8, a student learned of their positive test results. The student began experiencing symptoms on Oct. 7 and was last on campus on Oct. 6.
  • On Oct. 9, a student learned of their positive test results. The student began experiencing symptoms on Oct. 7 and was last on campus on Oct. 6.
  • On Oct. 9, a student learned of their positive test results. The student began experiencing symptoms on Oct. 8 and was last on campus on Oct. 6.
  • On Oct. 14, a student learned of their positive test results. The student began experiencing symptoms on Oct. 12 and was last on campus on Oct. 11.

Fullerton College aims to release information about on-campus COVID exposures on a weekly basis if an exposure occurred in the week prior. In the event anyone is directly impacted by an exposure or a potential exposure on campus, they will receive guidance from the college before and apart from the public announcements.

Free COVID-19 Testing Begins Oct. 25

Starting Oct. 25, Fullerton College is providing free COVID-19 testing to all members of the campus community in Building 1000, Room 1018. All members of the campus community are encouraged to test regularly, however, students and employees, who do not have a verified vaccination on record in myGateway, are required to test weekly for COVID-19 starting Nov. 1. Vaccine Clinic Set for Oct. 28

To prepare for the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination mandate at Fullerton College, students and employees may now submit their vaccination information or request an exemption through MyGateway. The mandate goes into effect on November 1. There are many local options to receive the vaccine. The next on-campus vaccine clinic will be Oct. 28 from 10-noon on the quad.
