Fullerton College has learned of a new case of COVID-19 on-campus in the last weekly reporting cycle.
On August 10, a student-athlete learned of their positive results during routine testing provided to students who participate in sports conditioning classes. The student was asymptomatic and was last on campus on August 10. The positive student reports wearing a mask and did not have close contact meaning less than 6 feet apart for 15 cumulative minutes or longer (per CDC guidelines).
Fullerton College aims to release information about on-campus COVID exposures on a weekly basis if an exposure occurred in the week prior. In the event anyone is directly impacted by an exposure or a potential exposure on campus, they will receive guidance from the college before and apart from the public announcements.
