COVID-19 Announcement

April 23, 2021

Fullerton College has learned that a student, who attended an in-person lab class on April 14 and April 16, tested positive for COVID-19.

The student who tested positive is self-isolating at their home for the duration of their illness and as specified by the CDC guidelines. Any individuals who had prolonged, first contact with the student as determined by CDC contact tracing guidelines, were instructed to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and self-isolate for 14 days.

Fullerton College releases information about on-campus COVID exposures on Fridays if an exposure occurred in the week prior. In the event anyone is directly impacted by an exposure or a potential exposure on campus, they will receive guidance from the college before and apart from the public announcements.
