This week, Fullerton College experienced a small series of unrelated COVID-19 exposures on campus. Specifically, four students, who are taking on-campus classes, recently tested positive for COVID-19. Each of these cases is unrelated. The college conducted detailed contact tracing for each case in accordance with published CDC guidelines and determined that one class be advised to self-quarantine. In a separate case, a student who tested positive may have had close contact with a lab partner, prompting the college to advise the lab partner to self-quarantine as well.
Anyone directly impacted by an exposure or a potential exposure on campus, will receive guidance from the college before and apart from the public announcements.
