Fullerton College has experienced a small series of unrelated COVID-19 exposures on campus. Beginning this week, the college will release a weekly summary on Fridays if there are any new COVID-19 campus exposures. These summaries are emailed to the campus community and shared on this website.
Anyone directly impacted by an exposure or a potential exposure on campus, will receive guidance from the college before and apart from the public announcements.
New Exposure:
A Fullerton College student enrolled in an in-person lab, has tested positive for COVID-19. The student was asymptomatic when they last attended class on October 8. The student consistently wore a mask and gloves, and maintained social distance of at least six feet while attending class. The class was notified. Results from an exposure assessment based on the CDC guidelines found there to be minimal to no risk of exposure to others because of social distancing, mask wearing and the asymptomatic student exhibited a low viral load.
